Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

We collect very little: only what you choose to send us, used only to reply to you and deliver your project.

  1. 1. About this policy

    This Privacy Policy explains how Amit Pal, trading as Brik Studio (“Brik Studio”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit brikstudio.co (the “Website”), contact us, or work with us.

    For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Brik Studio is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. By using the Website or contacting us, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

  2. 2. Information we collect

    Information you give us. When you use the enquiry form you can enter your name, business name, the services you’re interested in, your phone number and any notes. The form does not send this to us: pressing “Send enquiry” opens WhatsApp with your message pre-filled, and we receive it only if you send it. We also receive whatever you include when you message us on WhatsApp, email us, or share materials while we work together.

    Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the Website running and secure.

    We also use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the Website is used, such as which pages are visited, the referring site, and your approximate country, device, browser and operating system. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally: visits are counted using an anonymised identifier that is discarded within 24 hours.

    Information we don’t ask for. We don’t ask for sensitive personal data such as passwords, financial account or card details, health information or biometric data. Please don’t send it to us through the Website or WhatsApp.

  3. 3. How we use your information

    We use personal information only to:

    • respond to your enquiry and discuss your project;
    • prepare proposals and deliver the services you engage us for;
    • communicate with you about your project, invoices and support;
    • keep the Website secure and working properly;
    • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

    We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

  4. 4. Consent and lawful use

    We process personal information that you voluntarily provide to us for the purpose you provided it, and as otherwise permitted by law. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal doesn’t affect processing that happened before it, and we may be unable to continue a project without the information we need to deliver it.

  5. 5. Cookies and browser storage

    The Website does not use cookies or advertising trackers, and the only third-party script is the cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics described above. It saves two small items in your own browser’s local storage, which are not sent to us:

    • an unsent draft of the enquiry form, so you don’t lose what you’ve typed (cleared once you send your enquiry); and
    • the time our opening animation last played, so return visits see a shorter one.

    You can delete both at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. If we introduce cookies or other tracking in future, we’ll update this policy first.

  6. 6. Sharing and disclosure

    We share personal information only:

    • with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host and analytics provider (Vercel), WhatsApp (operated by WhatsApp LLC / Meta) and our email provider, each bound by their own privacy and security obligations;
    • when required by law, a court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights, users or the public;
    • with a successor business if Brik Studio is reorganised, merged or sold, subject to this policy.
  7. 7. Where your information is processed

    Some of our service providers, including WhatsApp and our hosting provider, may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, it’s done in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

  8. 8. How long we keep information

    If you contact us but we don’t go on to work together, we delete your enquiry within 12 months of our last contact. If we do work together, we keep project records for as long as the engagement continues and afterwards for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting and legal obligations. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.

  9. 9. How we protect information

    We follow reasonable security practices to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access limited to the people working on your project, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but if a personal data breach affects you we’ll notify you and the authorities as required by law.

  10. 10. Your rights

    Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

    • ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how it’s used;
    • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
    • ask us to erase it, unless we must keep it by law;
    • withdraw your consent;
    • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
    • raise a grievance with us, and if it isn’t resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

    To exercise any of these, contact our Grievance Officer below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

  11. 11. Children

    The Website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

  12. 12. Links to other websites

    The Website links to other sites, including WhatsApp and the live websites of projects we’ve built. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their policies.

  13. 13. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.

  14. 14. Grievance Officer and contact

    In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the DPDP Act, 2023, the Grievance Officer for privacy matters is:

    Amit Pal
    Amit Pal, Delhi-110086, India

    WhatsApp: message us

    We’ll acknowledge and resolve grievances within 30 days.

  15. 15. Governing law
